It was almost an overwhelming week, exploring the frontier, out here in New Jersey. It was one of those weeks where seeing a plant grow out of cigarette butts in an old can, seemed not out of the ordinary.
I started off the week with a crazy Monday. I rushed to work to set up for a string of scheduled headshots. Nothing worked out as planned. Some people did not show up, however, I did get some done. It was all I could ask for.
Tuesday was a gig I had been looking forward to. It was an event on a boat. That does not happen too often so I took full advantage of the moment. It was another day of good weather, and the week continued.
Even though the News was filled with political chaos, Wednesday was a bit calm for me. I got a chance to catch up on some desk work in between meetings and observe a captured a moment that, in my mind, captures the mood of the day.
The weather was actually good, for the start of summer. There was a little rain as the summer solstice passed, on a Thursday. Because I never really get the hang of Thursday it was odd, but I did manage to go Photowanering in Hoboken. It was a little wet.
Thursday evening was will filled with the painting of Gaslight Poles in South Orange. People in town were sending a message to the surrounding areas that all were welcome in town and the week moved on.
I eventually made it to the weekend. It was filled with chores and stuff adults have to do. It eventually led to some fun and some good food and rest, not enough though. Its that time of year when you just have to, keep calm, bear the exhaustion, enjoy the sunlight and carry on.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
