Again, it was not a quiet week, exploring the frontier around New Jersey.
It was still the beginning of summer, and the weather was beautiful. The morning was cool enough to go on a few walks, and the day’s temperatures were not oppressive. There was not a lot of rain as I moved through the state to complete a few tasks and get some camera work done.
One of my first tasks took me to the George Washington Bridge for a video project. I always enjoy the unique perspective that camera work brings.
This week I also got to return to Grounds for Sculpture to finish that project off. Traveling to Hamilton New Jersey to visit the constantly evolving collection is always a pleasure. I have a hard time leaving. I will talk about my full experiences later.
My time around art did not end there. I also found myself at the Newark Museum to complete another project. The camera work there allowed me to look more art and while the day was long, it was mostly enjoyable.
There was also a press conference this week. It was a simple setup, and I think I got my video set up close to its final form.
As the week ended, I found myself back in New York for more camera work, which was exhausting. I made it through that madness and the weekend was welcomed.
I tried to relax as much as possible over the weekend.
These images, from my week of photography, describe to you and explain visually the light, places, textures, characters I’ve observed in my travels. If you can spare a little of your time and share in the wonders, I have seen.
