Exploring the frontier, here in New Jersey, was not a gentle symphony.
Between the random frames, it was a cacophony of holiday music and plastic well wishes. It was also cold here in New Jersey. There was no snow, just some ice, here in there. The nights dipped below the freezing point often.
Christmas week, traveling to work is always pleasant. With kids out of school, people took vacations, left town. It was easier to get a seat on the train and notice the sun rising in the distance.
There was no camera work this week. Christmas was in the way, and no one was around. It was quiet and a great time to catch up on some old tasks. There is a bit of serenity in the office. No one is rushing for anything. Occasionally you have a bit of time to sit, sip coffee, look out the window at the calm.
Because I don’t partake in the Christmas holiday, I got to enjoy things without people around. The morning of the holiday, because I did not have to work, I got to enjoy a sunrise, alone in the quiet.
The rest of the week just remained calm. It was enjoyable to the very end.
#WEEKLYGRINDTHINGIE:
These images, from my week of photography, describe to you and explain the light, places, textures, characters I’ve visually observed in my travels. If you can spare a little of your time and share in the wonders, I have seen.
