It was another quiet week, exploring the frontier, here in New Jersey. The weather was interesting for winter. The temperature was stable enough and not too cold for this time of year. It was the first full week of the new year and, it seemed, everybody was back to work.
Camera work started up again. The new year meant new people in my office and new projects to work on.
For a part of the week, I found myself working with my old Nikkor 16mm fisheye lens adapted to my Sony A6300. It was a hell of a combo, but the lens is damaged and has me longing for a native wide angle lens for my Sony cameras.
I had to do some portrait work this week and my test subject did not want to smile. I was working in a new space for the first time and I am glad I used him. I still have to write the instructions for portraits there.
All in all, it was a decent week. It was a challenge to keep my head out of the clouds. It’s time to focus on some new things.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
