Here is my casual smile, out here in the early morning. You can’t see it but I do have a smile on my face. It’s warm and humid. I have my camera out. I am looking at the first signs of Autumn. Even though September feels like the dog days of summer this year , August had some chilly days . This triggered an early change of color in a few leaves and they have begun to fall.
As I grew into my photography I began to adore the fall as much as I adore the spring. It’s the colors. They are everwhere. You just have to look at first. It’s not obvious. The change creeps up and that’s what I like to see. People wait for the trees to go full orange. I’m looking for the temporary beauty of the early days of autumn.
Where I live I have many opportunities for autumn photography. With South Mountain reservation so close I can just hit a trail and share the wonders that I see. My gear has changes a lot since last fall so this year should be interesting.
