In these work from home times, I can't get through my Monday morning, hell most mornings without a good cup of coffee and a bit of photography.
It was not too early. I had to get more lens testing done. I am reviewing a Sigma 12-24 for The Phoblographer. Its a ultra wide angle zoom and its been interesting to work with. I brought a thermos of CushCoffee Dominica Bani to wake me. (more…)
This week I got to test a selection of Tonx coffee from the Sidama region of Ethiopia, Wottuna Boltuma. Tonx sent me a sample from their subscription service. I saw this as a great addition to this series of post I am doing. Instead of just one coffee image every week, I have decided to make it a weekly coffee post. I am going to continue with the idea of making original coffee images. I just cant stop at one image every week.
Sometimes a coffee comes my way that makes me smile. This time it was the Waialua Estate – Select Reserve, from Kohana Coffee. It’s from the North Shore of Oahu Hawaii. It was farmed by Derek Lanter in rich volcanic soil, and warm sub-tropical climate. This coffee provided a bit of excitement for me. Kohana 100% Hawaiian Prime is one of my favorite coffees , so getting another coffee from Hawaii made me very happy. (more…)
