…And here I go again. Another early morning in New York antother bit of PhotoWandering. It never gets boring for me. There is always a different vector to choose, path to take. This day I chose a quick subway ride on the A Train. I have done a simular walk before but I chose to walk a diffrent path this time.
I got off the train at 7 2nd St. Not too far from the museum of Natural History and Really close to Central park. This was the empties I have ever seen a subway station. There was one other person down there. It was extremely quiet.
I was shooting with the Nikon 18-35 3.5-5.6 D again this time in color. This is one of the few zoom lenses that I like on the Sony A7. It’s not perfect but works for me.
I made my way into central park. I like using bicyclists in NYC to practice my panning technique. It has been something I have been trying to refine.
I love working with a wide angle lens in the city. There is so much to capture this way. Waking down downtown towards 33 street I was trying to cover a lot of distance quickly. I spend a little too much time in central park.
New York was waking up and people were staring to appear. I love capturing these quiet frames. There are the moment I wake up for. I even get a few my self.
It’s funny on my way to my intended destination I ended up by central park again. I felt like doing a tourist frame at that point. It was there the sky was just right.
One of my other favorite things about these wanderings is all the hidden art I keep finding. It’s every where . I am going to keep finding these works if I can.
