The morning of a what was to be a snowpocalypse. I recently wrote a new piece on snow photography and I could not resist taking my camera out today. I am starting to realize that shooting in snow takes a completely different ascetic sense . For me, I start seeing the world in contrast. Not in black in white though. I see the world as whats covered in snow and whats not.
One of the crazy things about morning like this you can tell people don’t want to go to work, they have to. You can taste the dread of having to possible coming in bad weather
Most of the usual commuters missing , due to school closing early or just deciding its not worth going in.
The snow can be annoying when you can stay home to enjoy it.
The thing to do is just , keep calm and carry on.
The funny thing is the one day you don’t want to go to work, the train is on time.
It also arrives to its destination a little early adding insult to injury. Anyhoo this was my snowy smegging morning. Gear used D700 and Tamron 28-200 3.5-5.6
