A Monocrome Macro study

I am still exploring the world through monochrome images . This time with my Nikon 40mm Macro 2.8 on my D700. I am enjoying the fact that everything , image wise, owes a nice part of it’s existence to contrast. Details take shape in the differences of light and dark.

In black and white, its interesting to see how small light sources affect things. It also nice to see how the bokeh renders.

In monochrome I enjoy how easy it is to Isolate subjects using contrast. The best thing about today’s images is that they did not take long. I had a shot list in my head . The only image I did not get was a monochrome macro coffee shot. That will come in time.
