It was a quiet week exploring the frontier, out here in New Jersey and New York. It was a nice winters week, properly cold and no snow. New Year’s day was this on Tuesday, and it guided the condition of the whole week.
For me the week began with a bit of photo wandering on the streets of New York. I needed coffee early as the kids were still not in school, and I did not want to wake the family. It was easier for me to luxuriate in the quiet of the city till a coffee shop opened.
New Year’s day came, without a hangover and it was back to work. Most people were still on vacation, so I had no camera work this week. There was just a slow meandering commute.
The first Friday of the year came in unceremoniously and the weekend was remarkably calm. Having an unexpected break was nice. I found myself walking in the forest, for a moment on Sunday reseting for the first full week of the year.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
