It was a calmer week exploring the frontier here in New Jersey. Autumn was in full swing. The sky has been graying letting us know, soon it would be winter. There has not been a lot of camera work to do and I have had a pleasant respite working on some new ideas.
I got a new flash, a Godox TT685s for my Sony A7III. I got a little tired of using a manual flash and wanted to have a TTL capable light in my bag again. To test it I brought out some toys and had a little fun. It worked as expected and photography life improved.
The week passed quickly and the weekend started with a bit of rain, but not too much. It was enough to bring a little drama to the morning and I decided to walk around my town. Leaves were off the trees and there were drops of water, on them, if you took a moment to look.
The fall colors finally arrived. We had enough cold nights where the leaves decided to give up. It was also the Sunday of daylight savings. Instead of being up at 5 am I was up at 4 am. As soon as soon as I saw the first light I was out the door. As the sun came up, I was out in the frosty air witnessing the light. I walked around, admiring the shadows and enjoying the quiet.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
