It was a was a quiet week exploring the frontier. A time of year was upon us when everyone was remembering, speaking of a what and when. For people old enough to live through 9/11/01, in and close to New York, there was reflection. It happened 17 years ago, and those who were toddlers showed less of a connection but there was still respect.
The solemn day passed into a quiet week. The weather was wet, part of the country was bracing for a hurricane and most of us went about our days hoping things would be ok.
Lots of coffee was needed to make it through the week. Once the weekend came, planet earth was still ticking along. Friday night the bride force me out for a short walk, I put the Nikkor 50mm f1.2 on. Into the night we went. It was calming, looking at the sky, hoping to be abducted by aliens.
Sunday was a calm echo of other Sundays. A walk in the park, looking at art, help me reset for the next week. Lots of coffee will be needed.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
