I wish it were a quiet week, exploring the frontier, out here in New Jersey. Instead, it was filled with lots of travel, drunk weather, and unexpected events. It was as if everything just threw its hands in the air and said “let’s see what happens. “
I stepped into the week, know exactly what I needed to do, prepare to create video files for work. It’s something I am not that experienced with, but I kept calm and learned what I needed to know to get through. I also updated the firmware on my on my new Tamron lens. It was needed to help me with my task.
Amongst all the video prep, my job had its monthly board meeting. There were some important things to be discussed. The news media decided to cover the events so I also ended up prepping for that. The meeting worked out as planned then we moved on.
I began the BRoll portion of the video project and the traveled it called for. It was slightly delayed by nightmare fuel though. Things happened I wish I could unsee and, for a night, it led to bad dreams. There are some things in life I will never get used to. Through all that though, the video my video work was completed.
The weekend came, as did more rain and I was exhausted. When I could not sleep, again, I went for a walk. I made sure I had my umbrella hoping it would lead a dry walk. I was wrong. It poured buckets. However it was an interesting walk. It drained me, and I was able to sleep again and get rest for more madness.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
