It was, mostly a non-eventful summer week, exploring the frontier, and it was nice. There was not much going on, just work, a little bit of photography, and some music.
The weather was nice, not too hot, mostly relaxing. I was tired because I have been burning the candle at both ends and it finally caught up with me. I took a rest with only one morning of photo walking.
There was one night where my bride talked me into going to our towns weekly summer get together. A cover band was playing Springsteen, kids were running around mosquitos were feasting. Amongst all this, there was a sunset. We looked up and the sky turned pink. It was insane but a lot of people were not looking. Their phones had their attention.
The week moved on and somehow I got talked into another concert. The things we do for love. It was Maplewoodstock and the band, Third World, was the losing band for the night. They had the best sign language interpreter ever. It was an awesome part of a crazy weekend.
On Sunday I just wanted quite and found it.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
