I wish I could say it was a quiet week exploring the frontier. It would be a lie though. The weather was spastic, comfortable days and snow. This week was anything but normal. It was filled with a little love and a bit of chaos. I basically could not wait to get the week over with.
This week I continued to work with my Sony A6300 but used a few more lenses than usual. I started the week with the Nikon 50mm 1.8e on a meta bones adapter. When I realized the week was going to go sideways I loaded a few more lenses into my bag. I ended up also working with my Venus Optics Laowa 15mm f/4 Macro Lens, for some wide angle work. I used the Sony 28-70 fe and 55-210 for press work and relaxed with the Nikon 134mm f2 D.
The press conferences I work this week had me in Trenton and Fairlawn New Jersey. Both locales are not known to be interesting or glamorous. It still led to some interesting camerawork.
The beginning of this week was also Valentine’s day, which basically was a small distraction. There was little time for love. So much to do, it was a bit mind bending. I feel like I got the wrong things done. When the weekend got here, I looked across reality and just gave up for a minute. I recognized, I just need to plan all parts of my life better.
Some things I read between capturing frames
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
