It was a long week out here exploring the frontier here in the depths of New Jersey. It was not a terrifying journey taking photos and going through my camera work, but it was cold and there was snow. The winter decided that no matter the date, it was not done. I wanted to keep calm and carry on but it was too easy to tense up. I really just wanted some warmth.
The Snow just keeps coming. The week began with a bit of bad weather but it was not blinding white icy flow from the previous week. The snow was a bit annoying though. The winter has no respect for my feelings or anyone else for that matter.
While I was not really being a man of action I kept using my trusty Sony A6300. I did manage to get the A7 into the shop (Mack Camera if you are wondering). I got a new lens this week, the Sony 50mm 1.8e. I’ve been basically playing with it ever since. I did pull out the Sony 28-70 kit lens & the 55-210 for some interesting camerwork at the office.
This year so far has been filled with ‘different’ camera work, and this week was no different. The good thing about this weeks camera work was that it was in a warm Board Room. We had a VIP come through. I had to capture the experience as well as wrangle the press covering it. It was a rather easy task this time around.
The rest week was filled with more camera work, St Patrick’s day, leading into a weekend of coffee and beer. The was a moment of weekend work involved but that went quickly. I hear there is more snow coming, I’m not ready for it.
Some things I read between capturing frames

As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
