It was a distracting week out here, exploring the frontier, here in New Jersey. This whole week was a bit quiet photography wise. Suddenly things were calm. The weather seemed to mellow out and spring seemed like it was ready to make an appearance. The calm was suspicious.
The week started off with paperwork and a good meal. It’s was nothing exciting, but it was nice just to share a meal with the bride and not worry about typical Monday issues.
I worked with the Sony A6300 all week again. The A7 is not back yet. I used a variety of lenses through the week but I mostly used the 35mm FE. Having a goto lens is nice.I found my self thinking about the Sony A7IIII a lot. I got to use it for a bit and I do believe it will be my next camera.
There was a call for headshot this week at work. There was no time to plane things out. It’s not the way I typically like to work but duty called and I had to make things happen. So I grabbed a coworker, made them hold the flag, put a flash on my camera and got the frame. I was not happy with the end result but it was sufficient.
I just gave my first talk on Sony cameras at MackRetail, this week, and did not faint. That was a win for me. People did not laugh at me and I got my point across. I believe it was beneficial for those in attendance on learning how not to speak.
The weekend allowed time for relaxation and a bit of spring weather. I got more photography time in and coffee. It was pleasant.
