It was an unusual week exploring the week in New Jersey and New York.
As I moved through the week, the weather was a bit spastic. Things move From super hot and humid to rainy to comfortable at times. The craziness of my schedule only matched the erraticness of the weeks’ weather.
I knew the week would be weird when the truck fell over. The string of events that led up to the dump truck on its side, I completely missed. It was still an awkward site from the window of my job. The only thing I could think was ” what the hell was in the drivers coffee.
There was a bit of parental pride as I saw my son flying through the air. This week saw the end of his diving season. All I could do was sit quietly and watch.
Eventually, I found myself up photo wandering in the city, and the humidity and temperatures rose in the area. I lasted longer than I thought in the crappy weather, my flesh moist and uncomfortable. It was a good walk
The highlight of my week was an early morning visit to a balloon festival in New Jersey. Its something I have not done in a long time. I had to wake up early, before the crack of dawn, making my way to an airport deep within the state. It was totally worth it. I was catching up with some friends, camera in hand.
Then the week was over, and I was tired but a bit content.
These images, from my week of photography, describe to you and explain the light, places, textures, characters I’ve visually observed in my travels. If you can spare a little of your time and share in the wonders, I have seen.
