I wish it were a quieter, exploring the frontier, in New Jersey, out here in the northeast east of the country. It’s been cold, more snow has fallen. Natures decided we needed more winter, so in late March, the beginning of spring, we got more snow. But the week did not start off that way.
The week started off with a press conference and set the tone for the rest of the week, gear wise. At the press conference, I was working with the A6300. I knew it would be crowded and darker than usual so I performed an experiment Along with my Sony 50mm 1.8, I bought two converted lenses. A Venus optics 15mm f4 and a Tamron 70-200 f2.8. They were both Nikon mounts which meant I was using manual focus at a press conference. It worked out well. I did not fail, the week moved on.
The next day the 4th Nor’easter in 30days moved into the area. The mean I spent the first day of spring doing a system tour for work. Reporting back to the office on conditions, feeding out social media department. It was exhausting because I am tired of winter.
The rest of the week was calmer. I looked forward to Friday. I think everybody I worked with was just tired. The week took a lot out of people who just wanted warm weather and to put away their coats.
