It was a busy week exploring the frontier here in New Jersey and a bit of New York.
Spring was still showing its colors as the temperatures continued to, slowly, rise. Everything around me seemed to be calm, but actually, it was hectic. There are lots of future projects and task ahead of me, and it was time to prepare for some of them.
With a cup of coffee in hand, I began the week with a tour of an old train station. The camera work required that I document the facility so others could make plans.
On the way, I managed to capture a few interesting frames.
What’s left of the cherry blossoms were falling causing a pink mess everywhere. The colors were nice and contrasting at times. Most people tend not to see them past the sneezing the pollen is producing this year.
One of my favorite tasks , after a bit of coffee, was preparing for a project with the Newark Museum. I have not had a chance to walk through a Muesem in a long time, and it was a bit inspiring.
I then found myself in New York for another task. There was a bit of a delay, so that meant Coffee, it was my main fuel this week. A pleasant moment that ended too quickly.
The week calmy moved to the weekend and a holiday, May the 4th. It was with me in a few of my photos making abstract images of a scene or two.
Then the weekend ended with a visit to a new Coffee House. More on that later. I have… thoughts.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand, sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
