Well, I wish it were a quieter week, here in New Jersey and New York, exploring the frontier. Summer was in full swing, the weather nice and the world had not destroyed itself yet.
For no particular reason, there was a lot going on. Not caring about most of it, I started my summer photo wandering again. While I usually wander around New York, my first bit of photo wandering was in Hoboken. It was a pleasant mistake.
There are so many moments I see while photo wandering. They are there, then they just disappear, and if I am lucky, I capture it.
There was a lot of camera work this week, and luckily a bit of it was outdoors. After a particular bit of camera work, in Jersey City, New Jersey I looked up and saw sales. There was a yacht race of some sort beginning on the Hudson and I got to capture a bit of the moment in time. It made me smile.
As the week continued I made my way to New York for some more photo wandering the city is changing a lot, at the moment, there is a lot to see.
There was also a last-minute press conference this week. It was a sunny day, and a quick bit of logistics and camera work, but it ended well
It was fun finding that one strange unicorn amongst the insanity.
In the twinkle of an eye, it was the weekend. The weather went from nice to a hot mess quickly. In the midst of all the heat, I decided to scratch an itch and found my way to Riker Hill Art Park. It left me with sooo many questions.
I pondered those questions over cold coffee, because, why not. It is a good way to lose myself in thought for a bit, attached to nothing for a moment.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
