It was another itinerant week exploring the frontier here in New Jersey.
During the week, the weather was cool and wet, for August. In the trees, the cicadas were singing their song, but I was not sweating as much as I expected. Things at work were moving chaotically and had to keep calm and carry on. I hid in coffee shadows. This week was a thing I could not control
Seeing the street art in Asbury Park was the highpoint of the week. It made the trip to the beach, for work, on a rainy day, delightful.
I did manage to get to New York. Photo wandering was out of the question. There was just no time. I was just there to stretch my legs a bit and get coffee.
The week ended quickly in the end. During the weekend, I needed a social detox. I found myself in nature. For a few moments, I was sipping coffee luxuriating in the quiet. It was nice.
These images, from my week of photography, describe to you and explain the light, places, textures, characters I’ve visually observed in my travels. If you can spare a little of your time and share in the wonders, I have seen.
