It was a likable week, exploring the frontier out here on the edge of New Jersey. In this summer week, with some rain, in the beginning, lovely weather following, it was pleasant to walk around with my camera in hand.
I spent the first few days of the week of the week, playing with a plastic lens, that had no focus and was set to f 11. With its soft focus, I capture a bit of the city…
…and a bit of nature. It was a nice experiment that helped me evolve my photography a little more.
It was also the week of the July 4th the birthday of the nation. There was an imaginary second civil war which I ignored.I feared there would be loud and colorful explosions over head, through the night there were. Montclair bread company hosted a bake-off all on the same day and that was fun. I ignored the fired works all together.
With the holiday over, giving a nice break in the middle of the week there was not much camera work on the schedule. I did try to create a new version of an old print I did. Its an image of the summer, I only get around home.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
