It was a quiet week exploring the frontiers of New Jersey and New York, here in the winter. It has been a proper cold this last week. A little snow and ice made an appearance as the days passed and it was nothing to be surprised about in these wintertime January days.
I began the week with a few mental health days. One of these days I found my self wandering around New York. It was a pleasant day. The cold kept a lot of people in their offices and it was not a great time for tourist
The government was still shut down and there were certain locations that were affected.
I did find a new location to explore, Industrial City. I read something about a new place called Japan Village which lead to a new area, in New York to explore. Ill return during warmer days.
There was some camera work, a press conference, and tour in an awkward location. We delightedly used the mantra “keep calm and carry on”. It was a, logistically, fluid event, but was made it through successfully.
A little snow fell and the rest of the week was calm. We expected to be buried in bad weather but it never came and there was just cold. This made it a good time for coffee and relaxation.
As I make my way through the week, I always have my camera in hand sharing the wonders I see. Here is a bit of camera work from the week.
