It was another strangely warm week, exploring the frontier here in New Jersey and New York. As the fall continues we have hit a Florida tho of weather, chilly in the morning, warm during the day. People in New Jersey are having an awkward time with this. No one knows whether to keep a coat with them or be cold on their commute to work. For the most part, it has been an enjoyable autumn.
Being able to dress light, as I passed through my week has been interesting for this time of year. I had a day where I had a moment to photo wander around New York. This is the season’s weather really felt weird. On my journey, I passed by Rockefeller Center where the ice skating rink has been opened. People were in T-shirt’s ice skating, it was a little difficult to handle, mentally.
At the end of the week, I attended the local Diwali festival, the Hindu festival of lights. I have never been to our local one, and it was an experience. Pleasant people, enjoying each other company. I dod not know much about the festival, but I was fun to have my camera there.
As part of this year’s we35 project #exploringthefrontier we decided to hashtag our non-research as #We35shenanigans. I have been posting the images on my Instagram account. Here are some edited for my entertainment.
