It was an ‘off’ week exploring the frontier out here in New Jersey. There was camera work at first, so I only carried around my Nikon D750. When I carry the camera, for some reason, I take fewer photos. By weeks end though, I had the Sony A7 with a 35mm lens, back in my hand, with me everywhere I went. It was an eye-opener to me.
As an everyday walk around camera, the Sony A7 body is my favorite piece of gear. For camera work, the D750 is my favorite. For now.
Anyhoo Sunday morning, I had a plan. I wanted to prep some hot water, my @coffeegator traveling pour over #coffee maker, some Guatemalan Coffee and make it in the forest, drink some coffee as the leaves fell. Nope, did not happen because I forgot to check the weather.
I did go out though, do some autumn photography that made me very happy. It was just one of those zen moments.
As part of this year’s we35 project #exploringthefrontier we decided to hashtag our non-research as #We35shenanigans. I have been posting the images on my Instagram account but here are some of them, edited, for my entertainment.
