“You know nothing of the crunch. How dare you even speak of the crunch. You’ve never even been to the crunch.” Naboo
This week had a few endings while exploring the frontier. August lightly fizzled out, the weather, cool, here in New Jersey and New York. Another trip around the crunch, which was a project that absorbed a lot of my summer work life, pleasantly and undramatically ended as well.(‘The Crunch’ refers to when a decisive point at which one’s future course is determined.) Through all this, I got to pass through the city, with my camera.
I was looking forward to being on the other side of The Crunch. While I am quietly outraged that my morning photo wanderings have to slow down again, it could be worse. It’s time to shift focus again.
Overall this summer had its good points, like momentary psychological detoxes. It could have been worse.
As part of this year’s we35 project #exploringthefrontier we decided to hashtag our non-research as #We35shenanigans. I have been posting the images on my Instagram account but here are some of them, edited, for my entertainment.
