Even though I do not live there I spend a lot of time in New York. If I had to claim a spiritual home, it would be Manhattan. It is why I photowander there so much. There are spectacular stories around every turn and if I keep moving I just may see a good amount of them. My story is observing this fine city, with my camera in hand, as it continues changing.
To some degree, the morning of my last bit of photo wandering in New York was a fine observation of change. As I walked I found an exposed Grand Central Station. The old building next to it had been torn down to make way for a new, modern structure, dressed in glass.
Waking up early, walking with my camera, I like to get lost. I make my way to a location and wander aimlessly and share the wonders I’ve seen. I try to make it back before the start of the work day, most times I succeed.
