It started out a dark quiet morning in a city that knows how to let a person be alone. I was in New York again to photo wander. It had been an exhausting time and I needed to recharge.
New York was really quiet, ore quiet than usual. The weather was nice, for August. The dog days of summer were more like the wet dog days. There had been so much rain that there were lots of humid mornings.
I found myself walking down along the Hudson River, avoiding the joggers. There was a slight breeze which made everything around me pleasant. I found myself in need of caffeine though.
I eventually made my way to a simple coffee shop where I enjoyed an espresso mixed with a roughly equal amount of warm milk. The cortado hit the spot I eventual ended my morning
For some it seems senseless , me wandering around , taking photos. It’s something I really enjoy. Here are the frames from my latest bit of photo wandering.
