The morning was calm on this July day in New York. I had a day off. I was out a little later than usual. It was nice to photo wander without having to worry about work. The photo wandering ruled by coffee and doughnuts was not met with the best of weather but it kept the sweat at bay. I enjoyed around six miles of the city today from the East Village down to Pier 17. It was glorious.
There were a few goals I had actually given my self for this morning. I wanted to get coffee at the Doughnut Project and walk through Washington Square Park. These decisions dictated my route. I took the path to Christopher, street, which put me close enough to the places I wanted to get to. Eventually I made my way down to the Southern tip of Manhattan. From there, I went back to New Jersey.
… walking with my camera, I like to get lost. I make my way, wandering aimlessly and share the wonders I’ve seen. I try to make it back before the start of the work day, most times I succeed.
