The day started out with the usual order of things. I woke up, fresh, got my gear and took the first train to New York. Then I walked randomly around the train station, creating new frames. Duty called then went to work. I decided to break up the routine on this day of photo wondering seeking coffee.
I decided to journey to Greenwich Village for coffee. When I got to the city I passed through the street filled with the florist. I have I have been slightly changing my camera setting for photo walking and this was an excellent place to test things out. It was still dark and all I had to do, in my mind was make the colors pop. I dialed everything and continued walking.
I was a cloudy morning. Around New York parks, petrichor was in the air. No matter where I am I enjoy the earthy scent after a rain. The clouds were moving slowly over the buildings as the first light made its appearance.
New York slowly woke up as I walked through Washington Square Park. People were going about their morning routines and some were just relaxing in the nice weather. There was no commotion anywhere, it was nice and quiet.
I eventually found a good, calm, cup of coffee. Having to go to work after such an enjoyable photo walk was tough. I had achieved a nice mellow vibe for the day though.
For some it seems senseless , me wandering around , taking photos. It’s something I really enjoy. Here are the frames from my latest bit of photo wandering.
