It was a bright day in the city that knows how to keep it interesting. It was a Saturday in July and due to a stupid circumstance, I got to escape to new your to photo wander.
I usually don’t get Saturdays to myself so it was a moment I could not pass up. The city was alive. When I arrived I knew things would be interesting because well I already saw something weird.
I left Penn Station and started walking downtown. New York was full of tourist, construction and blue skies.
There was music in the streets everywhere. As I made my way through the East Village I ran across a band doing a Salsa Jazz thingie. It was nice but crowded so I continued on
As I made my way through the SoHo (I think) I ran into a concert. Again it was crowded I listened to music for a bit but wanted to keep walking. There was soo much to see.
As I looped around the city and started making my way back uptown, I paid a visit to Sony Square. It’s a hands-on showroom in the middle of New York and is a great place to visit. I had a curiosity about the Sony FE 85mm 1.8 and got to test it out.
The World Cup was going on as I walked through New York. It was easy to track Russia vs Croatia as I move about. I am not a huge soccer fan but it was fascinating to see part of the city brought to a standstill. As the game got close to its dramatic ending to and interesting bit of photowandering.
For some it seems senseless , me wandering around , taking photos. It’s something I really enjoy. Here are the frames from my latest bit of photo wandering.
