It was a pure wandering day. I hopped on the subway, got off at chambers street and turned left. It was a great morning , Temps were right and if was feeling fine. This is the essence of my photo wanderings, to really relax and give myself a chance to just see.
I don’t know why but passing through Columbus park , in Chinatown was cool. It was damn near empty. A few people exercising enjoying the quiet.
Shops were just opening up as usual when I’m out in the city. The colors were great. The moments serene. I’m going to miss these almost daily walks.
The emptiness, the lack of people. I love seeing the city like this. This may say something about me I guess. The less people the better. I really just enjoy the company of my close friends. Beyond that I prefer to be alone.
New York was intresting that way
I got to spend the whole summer photo walking alone. It was very introspective. I got to really focus on seeing. And for the first time in years not house to distract me.
I see nothing but my photography in the morning. It’s so worth the early hours.
