It was a mostly akward stress week in NJ. It got to a point where my wife felt I needed a break. She thought it would be good if I catch up on my NY morning photo wanderings. So I decided to take a trip to Dumbo Brooklyn. I have not been there in the morning in quite some time. It’s a relaxing place.
It’s a long long journey to Dumbo on a Saturday morning. I caugt a 5:52 AM Train to NYC. NJTransit was slow. The trip took 20 minutes longer than it should have. Luckily the NY subway was a little more efficient. Getting me to Dumbo early enough to avoid as many people as possible.
Dumbo is a gallery. There is always something intresting to look at if you are willing to look. It makes walking there pleasent , especially in the mornings.
The streets were mostly quiet as I wanted . The ocasional person the ocasional car. This was the perfect time to grab review images for my The MS Optical Perar 24mm f/4 Super Wide. All of today’s images were taken with it. The MS Optical Perar 24mm f/4 Super Wide fast become one of my favorite photo walking lens.
I of course had coffee. I went to the Brooklyn Roasting company. It’s one of my favorite coffee spots in New York. This time ended up taking home a tin of coffee.
The part of the park where I usually like to get some images was under construction. This threw me off a bit… just a bit.
There is always something to see in Dumbo. Images are not hard to come by. The best thing to do there is just take things slow and look.
Overall the trip was a success. I enjoyed it immensely. I have one more set of images to get for my review and it will be written up. I wanted to hunt more images …. And I did …
I had to get back to NJ there were pics along the way of course. I never put the camera away.
