It was a dark and chilly morning, the last one of the year. The kids were out of school, and I needed coffee. I did not want to wake the family, with my coffee grinding, water boiling, so I went with another option. It was a good time for a quick bit of photo wandering around New York.
It would have been comfortable to rest up for New Year’s Eve, stay up and celebrate, but I’m not a typical geek. I decided a brisk morning walk would be more interesting.
New York was quiet. Very few people were around, just the way I like it. Most of the city was still sleeping. A few people were rambling around in the cold morning air. Some were going to work while others were in town for the evening’s festivities.
The sun finally found me, and I knew It was time to adult. I had to get a shift in for the last day of the year.
I got coffee first. It was an excellent way to end the morning’s walk.
For some it seems senseless , me wandering around , taking photos. It’s something I really enjoy. Here are the frames from my latest bit of photo wandering.
