It was an early calm, calm warm morning in the NJ-NY area. The air was nice , not too humid, and easy to walk in. I was up earlier than usual and that gave me the ability to get on the first train to Hoboken, New Jersey and on to the Path train. I exited at the storied Christopher St , a usually colorful area, and started walking and turned left.
Simply traveling through lower Manhattan with my Nitz Strap, Sony A7 and a 35mm lens I started walking as the area was waking up. There were people jogging, people going to work, and a walk of shame or two and not one was speaking. The average look on people faces asked the question “it’s morning again?” No matter what people were doing it felt like they were in disbelief. So I walked and I walked enjoying the silence as others slowly woke up to begin their day.
There is no other way to describe this morning of photo wandering. I did not want it to end. As I saw things, that caught my eye, I lifted the camera, captured the frame and moved on. Here is what I saw….
