So much time has passed Thoughts are fluidly burning Waiting for that train
It was an early calm, calm warm morning in the NJ-NY area. The air was nice , not too humid, and easy to walk in. I was up earlier than…

When doing my morning photo wandering, I don’t always end up in New York. There are times I just do not have a huge amount of time to walk around. When this happens I prefer to take a different point of view. The city is so vast that it is sometimes fun to look at it from the outside. One of the best and convenient places to do this is Hoboken NJ.

Here we are again, another summer of #photowandering, well I am trying anyway. A few years ago I started this as a way to give myself a mental break, while the kids were out of school, grab my camera and share the wonders I see in New York. It is an ever changing city and always offers something new. At first, I had a hard time committing to this years summer joy. Self-doubt and others stupidity have wreaked havoc on my personal schedule, however, things have eased up enough for me to start getting out regularly.
Calm New York Morning Walkable before the heat A hot day ahead
In the earliest days of my, transient photography life, I spent months researching gear that would fit me. There were two things I dreamed of owning, A Nikon D90 and a Nikkor 135mm f2 DC. Eventuality I purchased the D90,however, I could not justify the 135mm at the time. Years passed, I moved on from the D90 to the D700 and then to the D750 and my photography life grew enough for me to eventually but the 135mm. One day, while setting up gear for some camera work, I happened to pull out the D90, which I keep for sentimental reasons. I realized I never used it with the 135mm lens. It was time to change that, so one day I woke up and decided to go out and have a laugh with my Original Dream Kit (ODK).
